Week 1
"From the Internet to the Web of Data"
Dear course participants,
welcome to the first week of our openHPI online course "Semantic Web Technologies".
This week we will discuss the limits of the World Wide Web and the vision of the Semantic Web.
For every module self tests are provided. In this way you can check the advancement of your achieved knowledge. There is no time or submitting limit for these tests and you receive direct feedback on your answers.
At the end of the week a homework will be provided. The time for this homework is limited to 60 minutes and you can only submit your answers for this homework once (closing the browser window does not stop the timer to count down). The count down is started as soon as you have clicked the start button. Therefore you should assure to have time and be prepared to take the test. The achieved score in the homework contributes to the total score for this course.
In case you have questions regarding the content, please use the community forum. Often these questions can be answered by your fellow students. The course tutors will also read the questions in the forum and help, whenever help is needed, and are looking forward to fruitful discussions.
