This weeks lecture will deal with knowledge representations in description logics and OWL.

To get a deeper understanding of the foundations of Description Logics, we recommend you to read
- A Description Logic Primer , Markus Krötzsch, František Simancík, Ian Horrocks [Paper]
The syntax of the OWL language is subject of the following book chapters in the course reading materials

To get some hands-on experience with creating ontologies in RDF(S) and OWL, we recommend you to try out the Protégé ontology editor :
- Protégé : a free, open source ontology editor and knowledge-base framework.
