To make software more sustainable we need to make its consumption visible. But measuring the energy consumption of software isn't easy at all---especially if you want to do it transparent and reproducible. This is why Green Coding Berlin developed the Green Metrics Tool: A framework for developers and users to measure and compare the energy consumption of any software program. In this talk, Arne Tarara demonstrates the tool's capabilities and even provides an exclusive preview of a soon-to-be-published feature!

Arne Tarara is CEO and Software Engineer at Green Coding Berlin. He has more than 16 years of experience as a software developer and is passionate about the topics Green Coding and sustainable digital technologies.
