In the two weeks of the course, we'll discuss how IT respectively ICT saves CO2 emssions as well as how it causes CO2 emissions. Also we'll identify the relevant roles in the process of software engineering and take their perspectives.
In the second week we'll show how to do software engineering in a sustainable way. We'll not cover social aspects of digitalization.
To successfully complete the course, fundamental programming experience in Python is required.
By the way, we use Python in the course not because it's particulary efficient, but because many people know it.
