Stefan Schnorr has been State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Digital Affairs and Transport since 2021. Prior to that, he worked at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, where he headed the "Digital and Innovation Policy" department, and had previously worked in various other departments at the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology since 2010. Schnorr studied law and began his career at the Trier Administrative Court.
