Welcome to the second week of our online course "Mainframe - Crucial Role of Modern Enterprise Computing". This week's topics are an overview and an introduction to z/OS, the typical mainframe operating system for running large-scale, mission-critical business applications on. This includes the z/OS components TSO and ISPF as well as the Job Entry Subsystem (JES) with its Job Control Language (JCL).
