Dear participants,

welcome to the final week of our course "Business Processes: Modeling, Simulation, Execution". In this week, you will be able to take the final exam.

Please read the following advice carefully before you take the exam.

The exam must be completed by July 3rd, 22:00 (10:00 pm) CET. There are no prerequisites for taking the exam, you can participate independently of the assignments you submitted and the overall score you achieved so far.

You have 120 minutes to complete the exam, for which you can earn up to 120 points. Please recall that the exam can only be started once ; then the timer starts counting. Closing the browser window does not stop the timer. The exam starts when you click on the start button on the exam page, so only click on the button if you are willing and ready to take the exam .

Your final score will be calculated using assignments, bonus points achieved, and final exam. You have to reach at least 50% of the total points to get the record of achievement. The results of the exam will be published July 4, 2019 at 10:00 (am) CET.

1. Introduction to Business Process Management
   
   The first-week chapter covered the background of modeling business processes, their role in modern organizations, and the business process lifecycle.

   The third week introduced methods to analyze business processes. Structural soundness and soundness are verification methods; simulation is a method for validation.

4. Business Decision Modeling
   The fourth week of the course covered the basics of decision modeling based on the new DMN (Decision Model and Notation) standard. It introduced how decision requirements are captured and how the decision logic can be defined.

5. Process Analysis and Simulation in Signavio
   
   This chapter introduced the Signavio Process Manager, which enables the modeling, analysis and simulation of business processes in a digital environment.

6. Process Execution with Camunda
   The last lecture week of the course explained how after having simulated and tested the process and decision models, they are ready for implementation and execution. In this context, it is important to observe the running process instances, ensuring that the processes are carried out correctly.
