About this video
Video description:
Digitalization and digital technologies cause CO2 emissions. While the emissions are currently at around 2% of the global CO2 emissions, some forecasts expect it to be at 23% in 2030 in the worst case. 50% of the total energy consumption along the lifecycle of digital products are consumed in the production phase. Thus with sustainable software engineering, the other half of the lifecycle can be influenced to a certain degree.
