Created for managers and data experts looking to maximize AI’s potential, the course requires no prior experience, though a basic understanding of business strategy, data analytics, and AI concepts is beneficial.
This course provides a comprehensive guide on how to profit from AI by cutting through the hype and addressing common challenges businesses face when attempting to leverage AI for financial gain. Through real-world examples, students will explore how AI can transform operations, drive financial success, and shape competitive strategies for sustainable growth. The course covers essential elements of successful AI adoption, from overcoming technical hurdles to aligning AI initiatives with core business goals. Participants will also assess Germany's position in the global AI landscape, identifying key takeaways from its successes and challenges.
This free online course is supported by the AI Service Center Berlin Brandenburg and funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
Designed for managers, data experts, and decision-makers, the course empowers participants to unlock the full potential of AI within their organizations. While prior knowledge of business strategy, data analytics, and AI concepts is helpful, it is not required for participation in the course.
The course consists of two modules/weeks.
The first module, “The Economics and Strategic Impact of AI,” explores AI’s role in modern business. Students will analyze its economic impact, financial implications, and potential for driving growth, while also critically assessing its limitations. The module covers how to integrate AI with business strategy to enhance profitability and minimize risks.
In the second module, “Organizational Development and AI Deployment,” students will learn how to build AI-ready organizations. This includes developing scalable infrastructure, forming teams for AI success, and implementing governance frameworks for ethical and secure AI use. The module also prepares students for the challenges posed by emerging technologies, such as generative AI, as well as practical tools to address bias and security risks.
By the end of the course, participants will be equipped to make informed decisions about AI strategy, enabling successful integration and long-term value creation for their organizations.
