welcome to the final week of our course "BPMN Meets DMN: Business Process and Decision Modeling". In this week, you will be able to take the final exam.
Please read the following advice carefully before you take the exam.
The exam must be completed by May 30th, 22:00 (10:00 pm) CET. There are no prerequisites for taking the exam, you can participate independently of the assignments you submitted and the overall score you achieved so far.
You have 120 minutes to complete the exam, for which you can earn up to 90 points. Please recall that the exam can only be started once ; then the timer starts counting. Closing the browser window does not stop the timer. The exam starts when you click on the start button on the exam page, so only click on the button if you are willing and ready to take the exam .
Your final score will be calculated using assignments, bonus points achieved, and final exam. You have to reach at least 50% of the total points to get the record of achievement ( at least 90 points). The results of the exam will be published May 31, 2016 at 10:00 (am) CET.

Introduction to Business Process Management
The first-week chapter covered the background of modeling business processes, their role in modern organizations, and the business process lifecycle.

The second chapter introduced the basics of business process models using BPMN.

The third week introduced methods to analyze business processes. Structural soundness and soundness are verification methods; simulation is a method for validation.

More elaborate concepts of BPMN and their semantics have been introduced in the fourth week, for instance, sub-processes, racing events, and the modeling of organizational resources and distribution of work among them.

Data is central to business processes, as it is needed as input, is manipulated during process execution, and drives decisions. It is important to ensure that data objects and process models conform to each other.
» Overview Week 5Business Decision Modeling
The last lecture week of the course covered the basics of decision modeling based on the new DMN (Decision Model and Notation) standard. It introduced how decision requirements are captured and how the decision logic can be defined.
