Welcome Week 2
Dear Learning Community,
welcome to week 2 of our In-Memory Data Management online course. This week we will go deeper into the technology of In-Memory Database Management Systems and explain Compression, Dictionary Encoding, Partitioning, Insert, Delete, Update, Tuple Reconstruction and Scan Performance. Again, for each module item we prepared a self-test that can be taken at any time and each student can take this self-test multiple times.
At the end of the module we prepared the assignment of week 2. For the assignment you should calculate ~20 minutes and the assignment has a time limit . Please be advised that this test can only be started ONCE (closing the browser does not stop the timer). In addition, the assignment starts when you click on the start button on the assignment page, so only click on the button if you are willing to take the assignment. The results of the assignment will be published after the assignment has been closed.
